As gruff as Autobot Ratchet can be, he is at heart, the kindest of the Autobots. His rough demeanor is rooted in his concern for those around him, for he worries constantly about the well being of others. Autobot Ratchet fears no Decepticon and he would not hesitate to face destruction in order to help another being. The only thing he's afraid of is that one day, one of his friends will be injured so badly that his mechanical skills won't be enough.
